Community Health

The community health domain contains a collection of standardized concepts, terminologies, and data elements used to describe and manage community health programs, services, and outcomes. This domain  includes a variety of concepts related to:

1. Health Indicators: Standardized measures used to assess the health status of a community, such as vaccination rates, maternal and child health outcomes, or prevalence of specific diseases.

2. Health Services: Concepts that describe various health services provided at the community level, such as immunization, antenatal care, or health education.

3. Health Interventions: Standardized terms for specific public health interventions, like the distribution of bed nets for malaria prevention or the implementation of community-based nutrition programs.

4. Demographic and Socioeconomic Data: Concepts related to the collection and management of demographic and socioeconomic information, which are crucial for understanding the context of community health outcomes.

5. Health Programs: Definitions and descriptions of specific health programs implemented within a community, such as HIV prevention initiatives or maternal health programs.

6. Community Health Workers: Standardized roles, activities, and reporting requirements for community health workers (CHWs), who are often key players in delivering community health services.

7. Data Collection Tools: Templates and formats for surveys, checklists, and other tools used in the collection of community health data.
